Bank robbery reported at North Charleston Wells Fargo

Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a bank on Dorchester Road in North Charleston by giving a teller a note.

The robbery was reported at 12:27 p.m. at the Wells Fargo branch at 4440 Dorchester Road, according to police. The area is between Interstate 26 and Interstate 526.

A man entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money and he left. No weapons were involved.

The suspect is described as black, in his mid-20s, wearing gray slacks, black hoodie and a mask with cutouts.
