After a car was found unoccupied and running on the Ravenel Bridge early Saturday, authorities searched the water around the bridge looking for a possible jumper.

Late Saturday night, Charleston police said the last known driver of the car was 23-year-old Elizabeth Ashley Ward.

Police were asking the public for any information about her.

She is black, 5-feet-9-inches tall, 180 pounds. She was last seen wearing a multicolored beanie, a plaid shirt, a denim jacket and blue jeans.

An S.C. Highway Patrol trooper found a black Honda Accord unoccupied and running on the bridge at around 5:30 a.m. The car's owner said his daughter should have been driving the car, according to Charleston police.

Investigators found an iPad and earplugs inside.

Police closed a lane of the bridge early Saturday morning, while officials from Highway Patrol, the Mount Pleasant Police Department, the Charleston County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Coast Guard responded to the scene. Authorities suspended the search later Saturday and later released the driver's name. Anyone with information about her should call Charleston Police at 577-7434.
