HARTSVILLE — AT&T’s chief executive for South Carolina is slated to speak to graduates of the Governor’s School of Science and Math.
Pamela Lackey, the company’s South Carolina president, is scheduled to speak on Saturday at commencement ceremonies at the Hartsville school.
School officials say Lackey is only the second woman ever to address its graduates. Clemson University Provost Doris Helms spoke at the Governor’s School in 2010.
Lackey has been with AT&T since 1997 and is currently responsible for the company’s regulatory, economic development, legislative and community affairs activities in South Carolina. She previously worked for the state Department of Education.
