Area clergy is invited to attend a debriefing Friday in North Charleston that will be led by the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy.
The meeting will include a guided conversation for support and is intended to be a “safe and supportive” place to discuss the added pressures of serving during the past two weeks, according to a Monday media release.
Numerous clergymen and clergywomen have been called upon to serve since a June 17 mass shooting that left nine Emanuel AME Church members dead.
Friday’s gathering will take place at 10 a.m. in the Montague Room at North Charleston City Hall. It is open to all area clergy members.
