ANDERSON — An Anderson man has been arrested and accused of making and selling pipe bombs.

Fifty-four-year-old Richard Michael Odell was arrested by Anderson County sheriff’s deputies and agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Tuesday.

The sheriff’s department says Odell was found at his home with two pipe bombs when he was arrested.

Investigators say they found a third device under construction and found materials that could be used to make more bombs.

Odell was awaiting a federal bond hearing. It wasn’t clear if he has an attorney.
