The Salvation Army of Aiken held its signature fundraiser, the Table of Hope banquet, on Friday, April 29, at the Big Red Barn on Chime Bell Church Road. Attendees enjoyed a prime rib dinner and entertainment by artist Brent Lundy.
The guest speaker was R.J. Bendez, a combat Marine Corps veterans. Bednez wrote "The Invisible Veteran" after spending two years photographing and speaking with homeless veterans.
