Police seeking 2 men in Richland County shooting death

Associated Press COLUMBIA -- Columbia police are looking for two men they say shot and killed a Richland County man over the weekend. Coroner Gary Watts says that 22-year-old Calvin Washington died at a hospital on Saturday from blood loss due to a gunshot wound. Police say they are looking for 23-year-old Melcelus Toland and 26-year-old Andrew Brown. They have been charged with murder, kidnapping and first degree burglary. Police say Toland and Brown went into an apartment belonging to Tolands former girlfriend and shot Washington around 4:00 a.m. Saturday. Authorities say Toland took the woman and her 6-year-old child to a nearby gas station after the shooting and left them there.
