One man is dead and another injured after a shooting Wednesday night in the parking lot at the Burger King on York Street.
Aiken Department of Public Safety officers responded to a call of a shooting at 1110 York St. N.E. at approximately 8:40 p.m. Both victims were transported to Aiken Regional Medical Centers with gunshot wounds.
Alan Black Jr., 31, was pronounced dead shortly after 10 p.m., according to a release from Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables. An autopsy will be performed in Newberry.
