Cedar Creek Church

Cedar Creek Church

Cedar Creek Church was founded in 1993 by Pastor Richard Swift and is a non-denominational church with Southern Baptist roots. Currently, Phillip Lee is the Senior Pastor and the church employs approximately 43 staff.

Helping people find their way back to God. The reason we exist is as simple and as powerful as this single statement. We use this slogan to remind us that Christ reconciled us to God and He has given us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). We want to connect with people wherever they are on their spiritual journey and help them connect with God, through Christ, to discover their purpose and honor God with their lives.

As an intentional church plant of Millbrook Baptist Church, Cedar Creek Church started nearly a quarter of a century ago as a small group of 12 likeminded people meeting in our founding pastor’s living room. From this first H.O.M.E. Group, Cedar Creek has grown to several thousand people gathering on four different campuses from Aiken, SC to Hookstown, PA.

Not only has Cedar Creek Church impacted the lives of those within the church, but it has made a huge difference in the lives of hurting people in our communities and around the world. Through a network of fourteen local partners and 22 global partners, Cedar Creek has invested millions of dollars and countless volunteer man-hours to serve the practical needs of people in our communities and 12 different countries across five different continents.

Our vision for the future is to continue to REACH people wherever they are spiritually and geographically and to CONNECT with them to help all of us GROW in our faith so we can SERVE others as we HONOR God with our lives.

The theme verse of Cedar Creek Church from day one has been these powerful words of Jesus. “... I will build my church, and the gates of Hell will not overcome it.” That is the story of Cedar Creek Church!
