• Mopar clubs weekly “Meet & Greets” will be 7-11 p.m. at Sonic Drive-Ins, 660 College Park Road in Goose Creek and 9101 University Blvd. in North Charleston. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, AMC and related cars and trucks are welcome. Other meet-and-greets this month will be July 15, 22 and 29.

• Lowcountry Motor Club, an informal association of car and modding aficionados in the Charleston area, will meet weekly 10-11 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Pier, 71 Harry Hallman Blvd. Most of the cars are late model imports but anyone is welcome. • The Charleston commemoration of National Collector Car Appreciation Day includes a free, informal event 9 a.m.-1 p.m. sponsored by Charleston-Lowcountry Auto Club Council and Coastal Carolina Region Antique Automobile Club of America. Local “car nuts” are urged to join collectors in celebrating their hobby. Cars will gather at 9 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park. At 9:30 a.m., the assemblage will drive into historic Charleston and continue to Magnolia Gardens, displaying the collector cars 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The event reflects the congressionally declared “Collector Car Appreciation Day.” This marks Charleston’s seventh recognition of the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association event to raise awareness of the role automotive restoration and collection plays in America. • Charleston Cars & Coffee, a free weekly cruise-in, will take place 8-11 a.m. in front of Atlanta Bread Co. in Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. Other cruise-ins this month will be July 16, 23 and 30.

• The weekly, informal Porsche Club of America-Palmetto Region breakfast will be 8-9:30 a.m. at Sunflower Cafe, 2366 Ashley River Road in Charleston. Other breakfasts this month will be July 16, 23 and 30.

• The Summerville Third Thursday Open Cruise-in will be 5-8 p.m. at Guerin’s Pharmacy, 140 S. Main St. in Summerville. Guerin’s Pharmacy is reserving 10 or more spaces for auto clubs, first come-first served. Be there 4:30-5:15 p.m. to get a good spot.

• Bessinger’s Bar-B-Q will host its monthly Open Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show 6-9 p.m. at the restaurant at 1602 Savannah Highway in West Ashley. Registration is $5. There are three trophies per class. Categories include cars for years 1942 and earlier, ’43-’59, ’60-’71 and ’72-2016; street rods; trucks and motorcycles. The Cruise-O-Matics provide music.
