Suspect arrested after Berkeley school vandalism

A suspect has been arrested after vandalism at a Berkeley County school.

Somebody broke into College Park Elementary School on July 4 and vandalized a vending machine, according to the Sheriff’s Office. A suspect was caught on surveillance camera. The Sheriff’s Office released photos Monday and asked for help finding the suspect.

Bryant Daniel John, 28, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, and additional charges were pending, according to a post of the agency’s Facebook page. The announcement credited community feedback and tips for the arrest.
