North Charleston gas station held up at gunpoint

A North Charleston gas station was held up at gunpoint early Friday.

Shortly before 4 a.m., two men walked into the BP gas station at 5098 Dorchester Road and one of them showed a handgun, according to North Charleston police. The cashier gave them money and they left.

The store is west of Montague Avenue near Scarsdale Avenue.

Both men were described as black and 5 feet 8 inches tall. One was wearing all black with a hoodie cinched tight around his face. The other had long braids and was wearing a red hoodie and dark pants, according to police.
