Passion to Forgive is hosting a fundraiser and cocktail hour to support the Myra Singleton-Thompson Scholarship for teenage mothers from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at No. 5 Faber.

The scholarship was created in honor of Myra Singleton-Thompson after she lost her life in the Emanuel tragedy in Charleston. It provides support to teen moms continuing their collegiate education or trade.

The event will have heavy hors d’oeuvres, music, raffle items, wine and beer. Duvall Catering, Blackbaud, Mickey Bakst, state Sen. Marlon Kimpson, Savage Law Firm, No. 5 Faber and others are sponsors.
