Fugitive sought in shooting has ties to Charleston

Police are looking for a suspect in a Hardeeville shooting who has ties to Charleston.

Arthur Lee Green, 28, is wanted on charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon for a shooting that occurred Thursday. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Police said a female was shot in the leg at Quality Inn and Suites in Hardeeville. She was hospitalized in Savannah and released the following day.

Hardeeville Police Chief Sam Woodward said Green is known to frequent Charleston, Hardeeville and Savannah. Authorities have contacted neighboring agencies for assistance.
