North Charleston 15U team rolls in Dixie World Series



North Charleston scored seven runs in the second inning and rolled to an 11-0 victory in five

innings over Baconton, Ga., Friday in the inaugural Dixie Youth 15U World Series being played in Ozark, Ala.

North Charleston scored in the second on an RBI single by Eric Hazen, two passed balls, an

RBI single by CJ Belton, a two-run single by Kelen Crowley, and a sacrifice fly by Morgan Rowe.

Justin Lifsey racked up two RBIs on two hits for North Charleston. He singled in the first and

second innings.

North Charleston’s Trey Pooser pitched the a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out six.

North Charleston will play either Tennessee or Texas on Saturday.
