Charleston Southern has changed two of its home football kickoff times for the 2016 season.

The Buccaneers will host Presbyterian in their Big South home opener on Oct. 22 at 6 p.m.

Kickoff for the final non-conference game of the season, against Bucknell on Oct. 29, has been moved to 11:45 a.m.

“There is no question our success is making it more difficult to schedule and this season’s was the toughest by far to put together,” said Charleston Southern athletic director Hank Small. “When we released our game times, we knew we were lacking a night game and felt like we owed it to our team and fans to try and create one. A night game for homecoming was our best option and will be a fun experience for CSU students, alumni, and fans.”

CSU is 28-10 under fourth-year head coach Jamey Chadwell. The Bucs went unbeaten in Big South play last season on their way to the Big South title and Football Championship Subdivision quarterfinals

The Bucs open preseason camp on July 31.

CSU opens the season with its first-ever appearance on ESPN on Aug. 27. The Bucs will face five-time defending FCS national champion North Dakota State in Fargo, N.D. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
