To the powers that be: Please make a final decision on what will be done regarding the butchering, again, of the many once beautiful oak trees which line St. Andrews Boulevard down to Old Towne Road past Charlestowne Landing.

My suggestion is to cut them all down, or install undeground wiring. They look dead already. If SCE&G will not take the underground wiring route, cut them down and replace with palmetto trees or other trees which do not reach the power lines.

It’s a hideous eyesore which makes no sense. As many people are visual learners, just look the next time you drive this route; you can’t miss it. A decison really needs to be made by someone who will step forward and do something to correct this pitiful sight.
