Since I cannot blame County Council for a sales tax referendum, can I still fault them for bad decisions? Like spending a ton of tax money on redoing the Maybank Highway and Folly Road intersection shortly before The Standard, a 280-unit project, started going up just up the street?
While I love the new lampposts and flowers (not really, most of the plants are dead) the traffic flow was not changed at all. The only difference is when I get stopped for 20 minutes waiting for the light to change I get to look at a bunch of empty condo units.
I miss the trees.
