I wish the government and the press would stop referring to Social Security as an “entitlement.” I have been paying into Social Security, without a choice, for over 45 years. The retirement age for me to collect Social Security benefits without earning limitations is 67.

If the officials in power want to keep raising the retirement age for private citizens, why not consider raising the retirement ages or years of service for all government employees, and limiting retirement and insurance benefits for politicians? What’s fair is fair.
