Daily digest What one local ate over the course of a day


Stanley Gethers lives downtown.

So for breakfast I had scrambled eggs, bacon and wheat toast. That’s what I do most mornings.

For lunch, I had two vanilla ice cream sandwiches. And for dinner, I had two Chick-fil-A sandwiches: Just chicken and bread. No fries. Just water.

I had that ice cream for lunch because I wanted to go sit outside and I wanted something cool, you know. It lasted me till I got to Chick-fil-A.
