Videos
These videos were taken inside the Charleston Naval Consolidated Brig's Special Housing Unit, a wing set aside to handle terrorism detainees. They were provided to The Post and Courier by Ali Saleh al-Marri's defense lawyer, Andy Savage, who obtained them from the Defense Department as part of al-Marri's criminal case. They were recently declassified because of that case. Several show al-Marri inside his cell. Others show him getting an eye exam and talking with medical officials and guards later in his six-year detention in the brig.
