Travis Sawchik covers Clemson athletics for the Post and Courier. He’s won state writing awards in North Carolina and South Carolina and national Associated Press Sports Editors honors for sports feature writing. Travis is a Cleveland, Ohio native and graduated from Ohio State in 2002 with a degree in journalism. He’s been writing for newspapers in the Carolinas since 2003, beginning at the Rocky Mount (N.C.) Telegram and covering Coastal Carolina athletics from 2007-08 for the Myrtle Beach Sun News before joining the Post and Courier in January of 2009. Travis enjoys Chipotle burritos, Malcolm Gladwell articles and playing fantasy baseball when he’s not authoring thoughtful insight on Clemson through the newspaper, his blog and Twitter account.
