Tommy Braswell joined The Post and Courier sports department in 1979. Braswell, who grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Belmont Abbey (N.C.) College, covers College of Charleston athletics, golf and outdoors. His stories also have been published in national and regional golf and outdoors publications, including The Sporting News, Golf World and Golfweek.
