This database includes fines and penalties DHEC issued between 1991 through November 2008. Some penalties may be waived at later dates. Fines that begin with the letters "ST" are "stipulated" penalties, which means that the fine will be waived if the violator fixes the problem during a certain time period. "Violations Cited" refers to specific laws someone has broken.
