The Great Oyster Point Runoff

November 5, 2011

A small flotilla of kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and sailboats made their way around Colonial Lake in Poseidon's Parade during the Charleston Waterkeeper's Great Oyster Point Runoff on Saturday November 5, 2011. "The more we use our waterways, the more we enjoy our waterways, the more pressure there's going to be to assure that its quality is maintained," said Waterkeeper Cyrus Buffum. The event cites stormwater runoff as the most common source of the nation's water pollution.
