Provide an opportunity for students to research an individual, write a biography as a team and have their work published in The Post and Courier.

Student Challenge of Math and Science
Student Challenge is designed to:
Promote hands-on math and science with standards-based questions created by Lowcountry college professors, and NOAA.
Its competition style format is intended to create a team atmosphere and make learning fun.
Runs: Mondays beginning January 28, 2008 for 12 weeks
Designed for instruction in the following areas or classes:
Middle School math and science or related classes
Appropriate for grades:
Grades 6-8
Other grades may participate, but are not eligible for prizes or Math and Science Bowl participation.

Career Center is designed in cooperation with the South Carolina Employment Security Comission and Trident Technical College to:
Promote School to Work, workforce development and career investigation.
Runs: Tuesdays from September 2007 April 1, 2008
