Battery signs defender Hoffer, midfielder Cuevas

The Charleston Battery agreed to terms with a pair of players Friday by signing defender Kyle Hoffer and midfielder Jose Cuevas. Hoffer transfers to the Battery after a successful rookie pro season with FC New York that saw him earn USL Pro All-League second team honors.
