Bonnie Blue Butler of Charleston was born in Enid, Okla., on Feb. 4. She is one of 13 puppies born to Lexi and Jake, chocolate Labs that belong to my son (Jason) and daughter-in-law (Katie).

Our schnauzer, Maggie, came into our lives 12 12 years ago as an 8-week-old puppy. What a joy and blessing she has been. She was supposed to be a miniature, but grew too large, so is actually the size of a standard female schnauzer.
