Robert De Niro

Robert De Niro is a father again.

De Niro, 68, and his 56-year-old wife, Grace Hightower, welcomed a healthy 7-pound, 2-ounce girl named Helen Grace Hightower through a surrogate mother, a De Niro spokesman said.

She is the couple's second child. Their son, Elliot, is 13. No other details were provided.

The "New Year's Eve" and "Limitless" star has four other children from previous relationships.

 


 

Jobs will receive posthumous Grammy

Apple co-founder Steve Jobs will receive a posthumous Grammy for his technological innovations in the arts.

Jobs is among a dozen people, music groups or companies receiving honorary awards Feb. 11, the day before the Grammys. He died of cancer in October.

The Grammys are honoring Jobs with one of the group's Trustees Awards, citing the late Apple boss' advancements that "transformed the way we consume music, TV, movies, and books."

Grammy organizers called him a "creative visionary" for Apple innovations that include the iPod, iPhone and iPad.

 


 

Etta James hospitalized with troubled breathing

Etta James has been hospitalized after experiencing difficulty breathing, according to manager Lupe De Leon.

De Leon said James' family is with her at a Southern California hospital where she was taken this week.

De Leon said the velvet-voiced blues singer is "in pretty bad shape," but it remains unknown whether she will be able to be released. He said James was taken to the hospital on Wednesday evening and is on a breathing apparatus.

James' doctor recently announced that the "At Last" singer has been diagnosed with terminal leukemia.
