Jack Waiboer of Summerville, a member of Mike's Catering of Charleston, checks on Boston butts, which his outfit used to make pulled pork barbecue for Friday night's Shriner competition at the fifth annual Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival in Myrtle Beach. Waiboer said the group would compete in five contests in the weekend event, which continues today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
