R.J. Gibbs accounted for seven touchdowns to lead the Sundevils (1-1) past First Baptist (0-2).

Gibbs threw three TD passes, two to Josh Griffin and one to Kevin Wadley, and ran for four scores. Griffin caught TD passes of 35 and 80 yards.

First Baptist seized a 21-13 lead in the second quarter on Chad Hunter's 7-yard TD run before Charleston Collegiate ran off the final 40 points of the game.

ST. GEORGE -- Dorchester Academy jumped out to a 21-point lead on the way to a victory over Colleton Prep.

Jake Berry, who rushed for 80 yards on five carries, scored Dorchester's first two touchdowns. Nick McElhaney completed 4 of 6 passes for 128 yards, including touchdown strikes of 66 and 20 yards. Michael Gruber led the Raiders' defense with 11 tackles and eight assists.

Brendan Gilbert scored four touchdowns to lead the Chargers over visiting Cathedral.

Gilbert rushed for 83 yards on 11 carries and scored three TDs on runs of 7, 1 and 5 yards. He also had two receptions for 44 yards and a TD.

Ty Powell was 5-for-5 passing for 78 yards and one TD for the Chargers.
