Dinners, events

Spring WineFest: Savor the taste and the view of the Azalea Hillside at Middleton Place's Spring WineFest, 5:30-7:30 p.m. today and April 7. Advance tickets are $20 and are available on-line at www.middletonplace.org. Tickets sold night of the event are $25. Foundation members and Middleton Inn guests are $15. Reservations requested. Charity Wine Tasting: The University Exchange Club will hold its 11th annual Wine Tasting for Charity 5:30-8 p.m. May 6 at the MUSC Wellness Center. The tasting is sponsored by In Good Taste. Heavy hors d'oeuvres provided and music by A Touch of Class Extravaganza. Local artists also will be exhibiting their work. Tickets are $35 a person or $50 a couple. Classes

In Good Taste: 1901 Ashley River Road. Four-night Spanish class offers wines and foods of Spain, presented by Tim Kelly and Jacki Boyd. Learn about the wine regions of Spain and explore wines from Rioja, La Mancha, Ribera del Duero, Jumilla, Penedes and more. Thursdays, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m. $80.63.
