Sit out on the balcony – take your pick which one – and you can watch a water taxi ferry passengers to Dewees Island or spy a bountiful fishing hole.

The three-story Isle of Palms home oversees golf course, marsh and Atlantic Ocean inlets.

Nothing going on? Then maybe you’ll witness the Intracoastal Waterway “parade” of yachts traveling from the Northeast to Florida or catch a foursome attack the par 3 16th hole at the championship Links Course.

Those are a few of the visual attractions at 62 Ocean Point on the Isle of Palms, all possible without budging from the 4,356-square-foot abode’s various decks.

“Once you get people in this house, you’ll see,” says Katy Leydic, listing agent with The AgentOwned Realty Co. “I advertise that it has one of the most spectacular views in Wild Dunes.”

The four-bedroom and four-and-a-half bath home, built in 1996, is for sale for $2.7 million.

Wild Dunes is a gated resort with amenities centers, two golf courses and tennis courts. “It’s like a small town,” Leydic says.

A sitting room is at the top of the first flight of stairs.

Ocean Point, meanwhile, is a small neighborhood off Palmetto Drive just past the Links golf course clubhouse. The community has its own gate with security codes, and it is primarily made up of residents or second homeowners with few vacation rentals.

From the main door, 62 Ocean Point resembles a Charleston-single house with side entrance to the first level. A large driveway on the west side ties into the three-car garage. The three-story home opens to its full expanse on the east side, which is the front of the house and provides stunning views via decks on each floor.

Inside, the foyer gives way to a staircase and adjacent hallway. Down the hallway on the left are an elegant half bath with pedestal sink, a closet and the entrance to an elevator connecting the garage to first and second floors. Formal living and dining rooms on the right.

A jetted tub is one of the luxurious features in the master bath.

The living quarters showcase dual fireplaces with marble surrounds. Crown moldings are in both rooms. Floors are a light-stained oak hardwood.

An island highlights the sizable kitchen that includes refrigerator, smooth top stove, microwave dishwasher and icemaker. Countertops are Corian with tile and mosaic glass backsplash.

On the south side of the house off the kitchen is a versatile space with built-in entertainment center and sunroom that can be used as a large family room or home theater. An open deck and screened-in, gazebo-shaped porch with metal roof form the northeast corner of the home.

The expansive master suite, with jetted tub and separate shower in the bathroom, and second large bedroom suite are on the second floor. Both rooms open to balconies and reveal wide-ranging views.

Two more bedrooms are on the top floor, which has panoramic views of Cedar Creek, the ICW and the Atlantic Ocean. One of the rooms can be converted into a recreation or pool table room.

Outside, 62 Ocean Point has a large, curvy yard that laps up to marsh. Oaks and palmettos dot the property. “We added a bulkhead last year,” says Vicki Puckett, who is selling the house with husband Jim Puckett.

The spacious kitchen is anchored by a large island.

The Pucketts built the house 14 years ago as a second home before moving in full time when he retired eight years ago. The couple are North Carolina natives and want to return their roots.

Leydic says that possible buyers would be couples looking for a permanent residence in a private community near the water, golf and other attractions.

Homeowners pay two regime fees: $748 a year to Wild Dunes and $218 a month for Ocean Point.

“Ocean Point is a really good neighborhood,” Leydic says.

To see the home, cross over the Isle of Palms Connector, turn left on Palm Boulevard and proceed to the Wild Dunes gate at 46th Avenue. Once inside, take Palmetto Drive nearly to its terminus. Turn right on Ocean Point and look for 62 Ocean Point on the left.

Philosophy: “Real estate in the Charleston area has been my profession for the past 16 years. I am a full-time Realtor who has sold and listed from Edisto to Awendaw. I take the time to study the markets in our area and truthfully explain them to my buyer and seller clients. I know the Wild Dunes Resort inside and out and have lived there since 1992.”
