The 33rd Cooper River Bridge Run and Walk is a week away, and The Post and Courier will tell you in print and online everything you need to know to participate and follow the events.

Bridge Run Basics

Today: The Bridge Run office is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for registration. The office is at 716 S. Shelmore Blvd., No. 105, Mount Pleasant.

Monday-Wednesday: The office is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tuesday: Online registration at www.bridgerun.com closes at 11:59 p.m.

Thursday, Friday: the Bridge Run Expo opens at the Galliard Auditiorium noon-8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday.

Friday: The Kids Run Festival is 1-6 p.m. in Hampton Park. Races start at 4 p.m. Geared for children up to age 13.

Saturday: Shuttles from downtown to Mount Pleasant run 5:30-6:30 a.m. The bridge closes at 7 a.m. Other roads along the route start closing at 7 a.m. The wheelchair race starts at 7:45 a.m. The run and walk start at 8 a.m. Check out postandcourier.com for live streaming video and, by midafternoon, coverage of the race, including stories, photos and videos.
