CLEMSON -- Casey Harman and David Haselden combined on a one-hit shutout as Clemson (15-2, 4-0) defeated Virginia Tech (13-6, 2-2) to open an Atlantic Coast Conference weekend series.

Harman (4-0) earned the win by tying his career high with 7 1/3 innings pitched.

Due to the threat of inclement weather on Sunday, the teams will wrap up the three-game series with a doubleheader today at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The first game will start at 2:30 p.m. The second game will follow at 6:30 p.m. or 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game today, whichever time comes later in the day.
