It was love at first sight with her Sugar Bear

Pat Moore’s Yorkie, Sugar Bear, loves his stuffed animals.
Sugar Bear found me at the SPCA in Reno, Nev., where I used to live. I just returned to South Carolina from living out West many years.
My baby was 10 months old when she ran away from her owner. She had a chip that was never registered with the owner's information. It only showed her age and that she had her shots as a puppy.
A friend of mine worked there and called me with the message that a Yorkie had just been brought in. Well, I thought about this for quite some time, at least 10 minutes. I jumped in my car and drove to the SPCA to check her out.
When our eyes met, it was love at first sight. I filled out the forms, made out my check and she was mine. They kept her a few days and spayed her, so I got to pick her up the same week. This was Jan. 19, 2007, and we have been best friends since.
I have never seen a dog so in tune with you and your thoughts. She wakes up every day with a smile on her face.
She is not spoiled -- just well-taken care of. She loves her stuffed toys and gets her second wind at 10 p.m. and is ready to rock 'n' roll.
I think she belongs in the movies ... or at least a commercial.
