What: Dogmore Stew Festival.

Who: Lowcountry Animal Rescue.

Where: Magnolia Plantation.

When: 1-5 p.m. today.

Details: Includes silent auction, games, pet fashion shows and more in addition to Beaufort Stew, hot dogs, desserts and drinks. Tickets are $17 and include tours of the plantation and gardens. Tickets are available at all four locations of All is Well stores.

What: Pets in the Park.

Who: Charleston Parks Conservancy.

When: March 9.

Where: 7:30-9:30 a.m. at Hampton Park Dog Run or 4-6 p.m. at Ackerman Park Dog Run.

Details: Exhibitors will be on hand with information, activities and giveaways at both events, which are free.

What: Oyster Roast.

Who: Pet Helpers.

When: 7-11 p.m. March 20.

Where: Charleston Visitor Center.

Details: All-you-can eat oysters, Lowcountry Boil, hot dogs, veggie dogs, chili and more. Silent auction. Live music by the Shakin' Martinis.

Who: Keeper of the Wild.

When: 1-4 p.m. March 28.

Where: Magnolia Plantation.

Details: Live animals, music, silent auction and more. Tickets are $25. Kids 10 and under are admitted free.

What: Adopt-A-Thon.

Who: Charleston Animal Society.

When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. first and third Saturday of every month.

Where: PetSmart in the Belle Hall Shopping Center, Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant.

What: Pet Fest.

When: Noon-6 p.m. April 10-11.

Where: Palmetto Islands County Park.

Details: Pets and their owners are invited to join Charleston County parks for a full weekend of exhibits, demonstrations, experts, entertainment and more. Event includes K9's in Flight Frisbee Dogs and Dock Diving. Also, meet Charleston County parks' official top dog mascot, Zoey, and the winner of "From Fat to Fit: A Canine Fitness Challenge." Admission is $5 per day.
