CSO's Ensemble concert planned
The CSO Spiritual Ensemble's free performance of Spiritual Masterworks originally scheduled for Feb. 12 will take place at 7:30 p.m. March 5 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3871 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island.
Those with free entry tickets for the original performance canceled due to inclement weather will be honored March 5. For free entry tickets, visit the town of Kiawah office, Indigo Books, Johns Island County Library or Holy Spirit Catholic Church Office Complex. Original ticketholders who are unable to attend the March 5 performance are asked to return tickets to one of the locations noted. Visit csospiritual.com.
Plantation event on tap Saturday
"Yemassee on the Wright Track," an evening at Auldbrass Plantation in Yemassee, will be 3-8 p.m. March 6.
Auldbrass Plantation, designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, is one of two S.C. properties designed by Wright and is the only plantation among Wright's list of architecture masterpieces. The property is privately owned by Hollywood film producer Joel Silver and is seldom open to the public.
Guests are asked to arrive by 4:30 p.m., at which time the front gate will be closed.
Hors d'oeuvres, heavy appetizers and dessert with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks will be available. Music on the piazza will be provided by jazz pianist Lavon Stevens. Auction items will be available for bidding.
Dress is plantation casual. In the event of rain, the party will be moved to a tent on another part of the grounds.
Proceeds will benefit the Yemassee Revitalization Corp., a grass-roots nonprofit community organization dedicated to restoring and beautifying downtown Yemassee.
The event is limited to the first 100 guests. Cost is $220 per person. RSVP: 589-4100.
Two adult craft workshops set
The Ponds Conservancy will host two adult craft workshops at The Ponds Farmhouse, 326 Hundred Oaks Parkway, Summerville.
The two-hour workshops will be led by local arts instructor Natasha Lawrence and are open to the public. All material is included in workshop fees.
--March 6: 9:30-11:30 a.m. Fun With Mosaics. $15/per person. Decorate a clay pot with beach glass, beads, porcelain pieces, metallic buttons, rocks, seashells and other embellishments.
--March 6: 1:30-3:30 p.m. Life Writing. $15/per person. Learn to write short stories. Participants receive a journal, writing guides and instruction by Lawrence, a published writer.

Holmes Baptist planning revival
Holmes Avenue Baptist Church, 4602 Durant Ave., North Charleston, will hold a revival service at 6 p.m. March 7-10. A love offering will be accepted.
Aunt Pearlie Sue program slated
The National Park Service has rescheduled Anita Singleton-Prather's performance at Charles Pinckney National Historic Site. The program will be at 2 p.m. March 7.
Following the performance, the video "The Language You Cry In" will be shown in the visitor center's classroom. This free event is part of the park's annual Gullah Heritage Program series. Call 881-5516 or visit www.nps.gov/chpi.
