Berkeley GOP
The Berkeley Republican Breakfast has invited Republican candidates for the county sheriff and coroner posts to speak at its March 6 breakfast.
Sheriff Wayne DeWitt and candidates for coroner Johnny Hill, Bill Salisbury and Sharon Shuler will attend.
The breakfast is held the first Saturday of the month at American Legion Post 166, 116 Howe Hall Road, Goose Creek. Breakfast ($5) is served at 9 a.m.
The April 3 breakfast will be devoted to county supervisor and council candidates. Call Charles Schuster at 509-6027 or Nancy Corbin at 688-4975.
Flower Show
Berkeley Area Garden Clubs will present a Spring Flower Show 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 6-7 at Cypress Gardens, 3030 Cypress Gardens Road.
Camellias, daffodils and other spring flowers will be featured along with floral designs. Horticulture entries can be made by the public 8 a.m.-noon March 5. Contact Laurrette Sweet at 312-9169, laurettesweet@gmail.com or www.Cypressgardens.info.
