Hip-hop legend remains Rugged with latest release
Every once in awhile we're able to score a "Listen To This" with an underground legend. Notorious B.I.G. was quoted as saying, "I thought I was the illest," when referring to today's guest, R.A. The Rugged Man. His latest release,"Legendary Classics Vol. 1" is a collection of some of R.A.'s most notorious songs. Boiling over with his acidic explicit lyrics and guest appearances from Biggie, Kool G. Rap, Havoc from Mobb Deep, and Sadat X, "Legendary Classics Vol. 1" is available in stores or online.
It should also be noted that when R.A. isn't doing tracks or schooling Floyd Mayweather Jr. on boxing history on live radio, he's making movies like refreshingly tasteless "Bad Biology" with Frank Henenlotter - the director of the cult horror classic "Basket Case." So, R.A. what's the lesson for today Rugged Man?
Kool G. Rap And DJ Polo - "Ill Street Blues"
Trackmasters used to have heat man. They slaughtered this beat, I remember checkin' for them when they first was coming up. They was doing for Chubb Rock and Big Daddy Kane and then they did this masterpiece. And you already know about Kool G Rap. No one to ever pick up a mic comes close to that dude.

RA The Rugged Man - "Lessons"
You saw the two bouncers in the beginning? The Italian dude is former Middleweight Champion Vito Antuofermo, he fought Marvin Hagler twice, he also had roles in "The Godfather Part 3", "Goodfellas" and "Sopranos". The other dude is the Mitch 'Blood' Green, remember he had the altercation with Mike Tyson outside of Dapper Dan's spot?

Mobb Deep - "Shook Ones Part II"
Man, we was coming
up together me and these dudes. We were all in our teens. We was just kids together in and out of the studio, man. I was proud for these brothers when this record dropped and they blew. They was some young street lyricists, I had no clue they was gonna blow like that.

Johnny Cash - "God's Gonna Cut You Down"
That video was atrocious. That made the Floyd Mayweather video look like "Citizen Kane". The song ain't bad, but the video is horrible. Celebrities taking themselves serious is always good comedy so at least I got to laugh ... I know he does his thing but I'm not real big on Johnny Cash either...except this chick put me up on a Johnny Cash song called 'A Boy Named Sue'.

R.A. The Rugged Man - "Bad Biology (So You Wanna Make A Movie)"
This song ain't supposed to be out yet. Its for the unreleased Bad Biology soundtrack. The soundtrack is deep… Jedi Mind Tricks, Smoothe the Hustler, Kool G Rap, Wu Tang Clan, Atmosphere, myself, Ras Kass, Killah Priest, and a bunch of ill lyricists.
