MARCH 11
Charleston Scene launch party at Fish
By now you've heard about Preview's transformation into a full-color publication, Charleston Scene. Come and see what the big fuss is about at the Charleston Scene launch party, 5:30-7:30 p.m. March 11 at Fish, 442 King St., downtown. That's also the date of the first issue, and there will be copies on hand for people to read.
The party will feature a special Charleston Scene liquor drink, that will be free. There will be a cash bar for all of the other drinks and Fish's Nico Romo will have food out for everyone.
There will also be a drawing: 10 people will receive a bag of goodies that includes a DVD featuring all of the promo videos (with extra behind-the-scenes footage of putting the magazine together), a poetry book by editor Marcus Amaker, a Charleston Scene coaster, a Charleston Scene koozie and free tickets to Cinebarre.
E-mail mamaker@postandcourier.com or find Charleston Scene on Facebook to find out more information.
