Banking
Pamela Nothstein has been promoted to senior vice president at Wells Fargo's private banking business. She is a trust and fiduciary specialist based in the company's downtown Charleston office. She has more than 25 years of experience.
She has a bachelor's degree from Susquehanna University and has the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Mount Pleasant-based Tidelands Bank has announced several personnel changes. Scott Garcia has been promoted to senior vice president and regional executive for the mid-coast region.
He has a bachelor's degree from The Citadel and has worked in the financial industry for over 15 years.
Kurt Seguer has been promoted to vice president and commercial banker in the Mount Pleasant branch. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts and a master's degree in business administration from Regis University.
John Larisey, a senior vice president and commercial banker, has transferred to the West Ashley branch. He has more than 30 years of industry experience and previously was based in Tidelands' Bluffton office.
Call center
Call Experts has announced several personnel changes and additions at its Charleston call center. Dishell Husser has been named director of operations. Husser has been with the company for nine years. Also, Patrick Burnette has been named the director of sales, Scott Rostance and Robert Necessary have been named sales consultants, Alisia Frazier has been named account manager, Joshua Wiggins has been named quality assurance grader, Kip Deaton has been named senior sales consultant and Morgan Snyder has been named account trainer.
Credit union
Steve Wichmann has been promoted to executive vice president at Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union. Previously, he was senior vice president of operations and lending. He joined North Charleston-based Heritage Trust in 2005 from Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union in Columbia.
He is the current president of the South Carolina Credit Union Managers Association.
Interior design
Michele Deters has joined Ink Architecture as an interior selections and design consultant. She has nine years of experience in the home decorating field.
Finance
James P. Jacobs has been named a partner in B2B CFO for the Charleston area. Previously, he was vice president of finance administration for a global manufacturer of electronic whiteboards and computer peripherals. He is a certified public accountant and has bachelor's degrees in accounting and Spanish for international trade from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also has a master's degree in finance from Johns Hopkins University.
Hospitality
Steve Migliara, Keith Schnulle and Kevin Blake have joined the executive committee at Wild Dunes Resort as directors at the Destination Hotels & Resorts' property on the Isle of Palms.
Migliara is director of sales and marketing. Previously, he was director of sales and marketing at Hamilton Park in Florham Park, N.J.
Schnulle is director of human resources. He has more than 25 years of hospitality experience. Previously he was director of human resources for Sunriver Resort in Bend, Ore.
Blake is director of food and beverage. A former executive chef who is affiliated with the International Sommelier Guild, he will be overseeing all dining outlets at Wild Dunes, as well as banquet functions. Previously, he was assistant general manager of The Boar's Head in Charlottesville, Va.
Law
Jamie C. Guerrero has been named a partner with the Mount Pleasant law firm of Trask & Howell LLC. He has practiced exclusively in the area of workers' compensation defense. He has a bachelor's degree from Francis Marion University and a law degree from the Mississippi College School of Law.
Brian P. McElreath has joined the law firm of Young Clement Rivers LLP as an associate attorney. He works in the firm's workers compensation and longshore and harbor workers practice groups. He has a bachelor's degree in economics jointly from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He has a law degree from the Charleston School of Law.
Pharmacy
Meg Wilkins has joined Delta Pharmacy & Medical Supply as a pharmacist for its Daniel Island location. Previously, she was a pharmacist with the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston.
Real estate
Joanie Lucas, Brian F. Walsh, Charles R. Thompson III and Beau Mueller have joined Carolina One Real Estate as agents. They are based at the agency's downtown Charleston location.
Brian Whitsitt has joined Beach Residential, The Beach Co.'s residential brokerage division, as a broker associate. Previously, he was with Weichert Realtors. He has a bachelor's degree from Clemson University.
Lane Derby has joined Beautiful Homes Realty of Charleston as a sales associate. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in teaching from The Citadel. She has been a Realtor in the Charleston area since 1997 and has worked as a teacher for the Charleston County School District. She also was director of operations for the Florida Keys Marine Institute.
Security
Trent Watts has joined Charleston-based Threat Management Group as a tactical firearms and lead close quarters battle instructor. He has experience from the U.S. Marine Corps' Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Platoon and the private security sector.
Technology
Pat Stanton has been promoted to director of operations and professional development at Ishpi Information Technologies Inc. in Mount Pleasant. Previously, he was operations manager. Also, Claire Murchison was promoted to director of human resources at Ishpi, and Joe Barnard was promoted to director of finance.
Moheb Mousa, Brent Dameron and Nena Jackson have joined Benefitfocus in the software company's Charleston office. Mousa is a senior software engineer. Dameron is a marketing representative. Jackson is a project manager.
Vehicle repair
Stanley Eaddie has joined Glasspro as a repair technician.
