Today

• A cruise-in will be held 6-8 p.m. at Andolini's Pizza on Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. The event is free and open to everyone. Contact Brad Lustig at (843) 367-1060 or online at bradlustig@earthlink.net for more information.

• An Upstate SC Car Show and Sound Off will take place 4-9 p.m. at 100 Fleming St. in Laurens. The car show will have more than 125 classes. The entry fee is $25. Koss MotorSports is a sponsor. Wednesday

• Charleston-Lowcountry Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will host its monthly show 6-8:30 p.m. at Joe Bessinger’s Barbecue on College Park Road in Summerville. Registration is $5. Classes include years 1900-42, 1943-59, 1960-72 and 1973-present; Corvettes; imports; low rider/tuners, motorcycles; Mustangs; street rods; and trucks. Trophies will be awarded in all classes, plus best in show. For more information, contact Jim or Kay at (843) 821-3271.

Aug. 4

• Bessinger’s Bar-B-Q will host an Open Car, Truck & Motorcycle show 6-9 p.m. at the restaurant at 1602 Savannah Highway. Registration is $5. Classes are street rods, trucks, motorcycles, and cars for years 1900-42, 1943-59, 1960-71 and 1972-2010. Three trophies per class will be awarded. The Cruise-O-Matics will perform. Aug. 17

• The monthly meeting of Lowcountry Mopars will be 7 p.m. at the Berkeley Electric Cooperative Building on Spring Hall Drive in Goose Creek. Meetings are the third Tuesday of each month. Call Betty at (843) 797-3246 or Stu at (843) 688-5992 for more information.

Aug. 19

• A cruise-in will be held 5-8 p.m. at Hutchinson Square in Summerville as part of a monthly entertainment event sponsored by the city’s historic downtown district. • Cruisin’ the Georgetown Boardwalk will be held 6-9 p.m. on Front Street in Georgetown. The event, sponsored by Winyah Cruisers, is free. Display your car, then dine and take a stroll downtown.

Aug. 21

• Lowcountry Shine & Swapp “Anything On Wheels” will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coastal Carolina Flea Market, located off Interstate 26 at College Park Road exit 203 in Ladson. The car show and swap meet, sponsored by Lowcountry Mopars, is open to all vehicles. The event is free to all participants. There will be top 10 trophies and Manager’s Choice. Aug. 28

• Coastal Carolina Corvette Club will present its first “Summer Cool Down” Indoor Car Show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Omar Shrine Temple, 176 Patriots Point Road in Mount Pleasant. This is a pre-registration show only and is limited to the first 80 vehicles. Registration, which is $20, must be received by Aug. 11. There will be 30 trophies awarded by class size and a Sponsor’s Choice Best in Show Trophy. Classes are Corvettes; sport compacts; Mustangs; street rods; trucks; and years 1900-62, 1963-71, 1972-89, 1990-2005 and 2006-present. • The Back to the Drive-in Car Show sponsored by Palmetto Cruisers will be held 1-7 p.m. at Sonic Drive In, 2421 W. Palmetto St. in Florence. Registration, from 1 to 3 p.m., is $20. Call Davy McClary at (843) 621-1946 for more information.
