Restaurant Week and Haiti donation
NDG, which includes McCrady's Restaurant, Queen Anne's Revenge and The Buccaneer Restaurant, is extending its Restaurant Week promotion to Jan. 30 and will donate $5 from every meal sold off special menus to aid Haitian relief efforts.
The menu offering at McCrady's is $35, and at The Buccaneer and Queen Anne's Revenge, $30. The goal is to raise at least $10,000. Monies raised will be sent to the Red Cross. Visit www.mccradysrestaurant.com, www.qarevenge.com or www.thebuccaneerrestaurant.com.

Avondale Point Haiti Relief Benefit
Triangle Char and Bar, along with Pearlz and Al Di La in the Avondale area of West Ashley, are hosting an event to raise money for the Haiti relief efforts through the Red Cross. The Avondale Point Haiti Relief Benefit takes place 2-5 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Triangle Char and Bar. The $20 admission includes barbecue, oysters and pasta along with drinks in the Beer & Wine Garden and live local music. All proceeds go directly to the Red Cross. Help Haiti Benefit Concert at The Music Farm
Help Haiti Benefit Concert for the American Red Cross and Water Missions International will be 3-10 p.m. Sunday at the Music Farm, 32 Ann St.
Midtown Bar and Grille, Basil and Chai's are providing the food. Admission is $10 plus a donation. Scheduled artists include Mac Leaphart, Tater Famine, Ryan Bonner, A Fragile Tomorrow, Megan Jean and the KFB, The In-Laws, Justin James Burke, Mary's Got a Band, The Whisperjets, Doug Jones, Danielle Howle, Josh Roberts and Leslie Branham and Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent.

Footlight to donate performance proceeds to relief fund
Footlight Players will donate 25 percent of ticket proceeds from the Jan. 28 performance of "The Miracle Worker" to Water Missions International. The nonprofit, Christian engineering organization based in Charleston has already sent 12 units to Haiti to purify water and 10 more are in transit. Each unit can provide water each day for 5,000 people. Ultimately, the organization plans to send 100 water systems to Haiti.
The show is at 8 p.m. Jan. 28 at 20 Queen St. Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors, $15 for students, and $10 for children 10 & under. Call 722-4487 to get your tickets.

Pure Theatre's production of "Yankee Tavern"
Pure Theatre is presenting the South Carolina premiere of the psychological thriller "Yankee Tavern" by Steven Dietz. The play is directed by Pure Artistic Director Sharon Graci, and will feature Will Hodges, Randy Neale, Katie Huard, and Mark Poremba. "Yankee Tavern" opens Friday at Upper Lance Hall on the grounds of Circular Congregational Church, 150 Meeting St. The production will run through Feb. 13. Tickets are $20-25. Call 723-4444
