O'Brion's the quintessential neighborhood bar
The Mount Pleasant location of O'Brion's Pub & Grille is the ideal bar for the I'On neighborhood. Not too stuffy, yet by no means a dive, O'Brion's balances good quality with a casual atmosphere.
Like their James Island location, O'Brion's Mount Pleasant has plenty of televisions for sports fans' viewing pleasure and a quality menu, featuring Irish dishes, seafood and more.
The bricked-patio is ideal for relaxing when the weather is cooperative and also a good spot for people-watching on the I'On square.
On the night of my visit, laughing patrons and clinking glasses could be heard from the street. O'Brion's vibe is perhaps best described as "inviting."
One need not be an I'On or Mount Pleasant resident to have a good time at O'Brion's, but one of its best features is its location, where a "walk" down to the local pub often happens quite literally.
I'On is cozy. So is Obrion's. And the pre-planned, intentional community is complimented well by O'Brion's Pub & Grille, which seems to be the perfect "neighborhood bar" in the truest sense of that term.
