We asked you to send us photos of your beautiful pets, and you did!

The Post and Courier received more than 500 entries in a contest to find the best-looking pets in the Lowcountry.

Those entries have been narrowed to 24 semi-finalists, and now we're trying to pick the top 12.

Attendees at Saturday's Lowcountry Paws & Claws Pet Expo voted on their favorites, but the contest has proven to be such a success that we are going to let you weigh in, too.

Check out the semi-finalists here and cast your ballot. Voting ends Oct. 4.

Winners receive a professional photo shoot.
