Van hits school bus, another vehicle

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

A van traveling north on U.S. Highway 52 on Tuesday crossed into the southbound lane of oncoming traffic, glanced off the back of a school bus and hit a GMC Yukon, a Goose Creek Police public information officer said Tuesday.

The school bus was empty except for the driver. The drivers of the other two vehicles were taken to an area hospital, where they were reported to be up and walking around when officers checked on them.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol was investigating the accident, said Casey Hoskins, the public information officer.
