Details: In addition to our pets enjoying a swim in the pool, there will be activities, vendors and working dogs.

What: Pug's Country Fair.

What: Doggy Dining and Drinks.

Where: Dog & Duck, Belle Hall, Mount Pleasant
Details: Learn about the rescue and meet some of the goldens.

What: Fido's Frolic on Folly.
Who: Pet Helpers.
When: 2-5 p.m. Oct. 3.
Where: Folly Beach Fishing Pier.
Details: Individual registration fee: $15 before Sept. 25 or $20 on-site. Team registration: $35 before Sept. 25 or $40 on-site. Participants are encouraged to raise money by getting pledges for the walk. Top fundraisers will receive prizes.

Who: Charleston Animal Society.
When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., first and third Saturday of every month.
