The eighth annual Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival will take place at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn on Hilton Head Island and at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa on Hutchinson Island, Ga. The event will feature historic automobile racing managed by Historic Sportscar Racing Ltd., a Car Club Jamboree on Sarturday with 15-20 local and regional car clubs displaying vehicles, motorcycle exhibits, educational displays, ride and drive events from automotive sponsors, a special exhibit of “Life on the Road” showcasing how Americans slept on the road before motels and hotels and the pinnacle event — the Concours d’Elegance on Sunday with 150 cars and motorcycles competing for Best of Show. Ticket prices are $15 for the Savannah/Hilton Head Speed Classic vintage track event, $25 for a two-day track pass or the Car Club Jamboree, $30 for the Concours d’Elegance and $50 for a two-day festival pass. Children under 12 get in free, students are $5 per day and military and their families receive a 50 percent discount at the gate. Motoring Festival partners include BMW Group/Hilton Head BMW, Porsche of North America/Porsche of Hilton Head, Jaguar Motor Cars, NA/Jaguar Hilton Head, Mercedes-Benz USA, Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Hargray, the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, the Savannah Convention & Visitors Bureau, The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, Adventure Radio, Savannah Morning News, Celebration Events, Classic Party Rentals and Historic Sportscar Racing Ltd. That Old School Bike and Car Show will be held at American Biker, 679 Treeland Drive in Ladson. Registration, which is $15 per vehicle, will be 9-11 a.m. Trophies will be awarded at 4:30 p.m. There will be a ’50s and ’60s costume contest at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call (843) 641-0258.

Coastal Carolina Corvette Club will hold its monthly meeting at Quality Suites, located on North Arco Lane near Tanger Outlets in North Charleston. Social time will begin at 2:30 p.m., and the club meeting will start at 3 p.m. Members and interested Corvette owners are invited to attend. Wednesday
The season finale Open Car, Truck & Motorcycle show at Bessinger’s Bar-B-Q, 1602 Savannah Highway, will be held 6-9 p.m. Registration is $5. There are three trophies per class, which include street rods; trucks; motorcycles; and cars for years 1900-42, 1943-59, 1960-71 and 1972-2009. Music is by The Cruise-O-Matics. Nov. 7
The 15th annual All Ford & Mustang Show, hosted by the Low Country Mustang Club, will be held at Carolina Ice Palace, 7665 Northwoods Blvd. Event hours are noon to 4 p.m. with check-in from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration fee is $20. There are more than 20 classes, with awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Silent auction, and dash plaques to first 100 participants. The Coastal Carolina Corvette Club will present the Royall Hardware Holiday Open Car, Bike & Truck Show 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre on U.S. Highway 17. Sponsoring the show is Royall Hardware of Mount Pleasant. Registration, which is $10 a vehicle, begins at 11 a.m. at Towne Centre in front of Bed, Bath & Beyond. Thirty trophies will be awarded by class size and participant judging. There are also Sponsor’s Choice Trophies. Classes are Corvettes; motorcycles; sport compact; Mustangs; street rods; trucks; and years 1900-62, 1963-71, 1972-89 and 1990-present. Proceeds from the show will go to the East Cooper Meals on Wheels, who will be accepting donations at the show as well. This will be the Corvette club’s final show of the season. Nov. 20-21
The Rockin’ Charleston Open Car & Truck Show will be held in Adams Run and in North Charleston. The kickoff party is Friday in the lobby of the Quality Suites at 5225 N. Arco Lane in North Charleston. Party registration is 5-9 p.m. at the hotel. There will be a Sock Hop and ’50s Dress-Up Contest. The Cruise-O-Matics will perform Friday as well as at the show Saturday. Show pre-registration by Nov. 7 is $15. Day-of-show registration, which is $20, is 9 a.m.-noon at 6373 Spring Grove Rd. in Adams Run. All cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome. There will be food, a swap meet and horseshoes. Judging starts at noon with awards at 3 p.m. Trophies for Best of Show, Best Paint and top three in class: Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, truck, antiques, street rod, rat rod, Corvette, Mustang, motorcycles, tractors, VW and foreign. Proceeds go to the American Heart Association. The show is in memory of Will Drake, Southeast National Street Rod Association representative. To get to the event in Adams Run, follow Savannah Highway (U.S. Highway 17) south to Spring Grove Road and turn right.
