Circa 1886 donating
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Circa 1886 is offering a special tasting menu each Thursday in October with a portion of the price being donated to the Charleston Breast Center. The tasting menu is available 5:30-10 p.m. Oct. 22, 29. The cost is $75 per person for the tasting menu or $110 per person with wine pairings, and 10 percent of the price will be donated to the Charleston Breast Center. Walk on the wild side
FISH Restaurant will host a "Predator and Prey" dinner just in time for All Hallows Eve ghouls. Chef Nico Romo gives a whole new meaning to "bait." Make your reservation for Oct. 30 or Oct. 31 beginning at 5:30 p.m. This three-course menu costs $35. C&B hails 'Cabs'
Today, 5:30-7:30 p.m., the folks at Caviar & Bananas are popping the corks on Cabernets. Spark ignites benefit
Creative Spark Center for the Arts' fall fundraiser includes a sneak peek into luxurious, historic homes and artists' studios on Sullivan's Island filled with artists, entertainment and chefs.
Chef demonstrations and tastings will include The Old Village Post House, The Mustard Seed, Cafe Medley, Ben Berryhill's Red Drum Restaurant, Atlanticville and Everyday Gourmet. Art, musical entertainment and a reception at Station 22 Restaurant round out the day with proceeds benefiting Creative Spark Center for the Arts' scholarship fund.
Art on the Beach & Chefs in the Kitchen takes place 1-5 p.m. Nov. 8 with the reception following. Tickets are $35. Advance tickets are available at Creative Spark. Call 881-3780 or at www.creativespark.org.
